Listen to your body

Are you tired? Hungry? Pay close attention to what your body is telling you. If it is exhausted, go ahead and take a nap. Try your best to maintain a well-balanced, nutritious diet.

Foods to incorporate into your diet: Anything healthy, such as colorful vegetables and fruits, lean protein, dairy products, etc. Healthy eating items will provide your body with essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients and energy to function. They also help prevent and control several health issues, including heart disease, diabetes and high BP.

Foods to avoid: While boycotting junk food is hard, you should try to eat pizza, burgers, etc. in moderation. Also, avoid refined sugar and bad fats because they can lead to obesity and health conditions, such as diabetes.

Don’t skip meals. Stick to smaller, regular meals daily. Furthermore, maintain a regular sleep routine of 7 hours daily. Sleep deprivation can lead to productivity problems.  

Stay hydrated

Drink as much water as you can to stay hydrated. Water helps get rid of toxins from the body. It also kick starts the metabolism.

Work out

Physical activity is the key to a healthy life. Apart from strengthening your bones and muscles, regular exercise can improve your energy, mood and focus.

Physical activity promotes the flow of oxygen to vital organs, which can result in better physical, mental and cognitive performance.

Be it swimming or yoga, find something that you enjoy doing. And try to do it regularly, at least thrice a week.

Eliminate distractions

Too many distractions can cause stress. Put away your phone and switch off your television for some time.
